PCR can help you...

...get acting jobs in the TV industry

The best job I got through PCR was for a Clover Butter Commercial. It was through your last minute breakdowns and they were looking for a real mother and daughter. So i dragged my poor camera shy mum to it and 6 days later we had filmed 2 commercials for £6,000.

...star in a commercial

The best job I got through PCR was a Stella Artois advert. It was shot in green screen. I got married whilst walking a horse that was dressed as a cow! Surreal! The finished product was so authentic: black and white, 1960s Belgium newsreel. Clever ad, and a great team!

...work on a TV series

I got the part of Leah in Franco Zeffirelli's film version of Jane Eyre solely through seeing the casting information available in PCR.

It was a fantastic experience filming with William Hurt and Joan Plowright amongst others and it's still the entry on my CV that everyone notices.

...progress your career

The best job I got through PCR was the lead in Catching the Bus, a film made by Antonio Ribeiro of Storymakers TV. It has so far been accepted into the Strasbourg and Tarnowidz International Film Festivals and gave me the material to make a showreel. From this, I was offered a major guest role in a new international TV series called The Cult which I’ve just finished shooting in New Zealand. The series has a UK distributor and is being looked at by Fox in the US. It goes to show how one job can lead to another once you start building momentum and it was through PCR that I was able to make that first crucial step in my career!

...be involved in an independent feature film

Thanks to PCR I am now involved in an Independent Feature Film called ‘Northern Soul’ to be directed by Elaine Constantine. We are due to shoot in February 2011 and we are already causing a stir with the press. We are currently in pre-production with monthly dance rehearsals and workshops.

...get your career changing acting job in the film industry

The best job I got through PCR was in late 2000 when I answered an ad' casting actors for 'Absolute Murder' I answered it, got an audition and began working as an actor.

In 2003 my Wife and I got the chance to buy the company, we did so and today head (probably) the Countries leading Murder Mystery Theatre Company performing in the UK and abroad. I really did like the company so much that I bought it!!

...if you’re looking for your first acting job

The best job I have had through PCR was actually my first paid acting job after leaving drama school.  The role was that of Jessica in a production of Terry Johnson's Hysteria.  I was absolutely delighted to be offered this part to play and it was all thanks to PCR!

...travel abroad and work

I replied to an advert via a last minute casting. Before you know it I was being flown out to the Caribbean to shoot an amazing commercial, sailing a boat around the islands in the gorgeous sun and I got handsomely paid for it. Thanks PCR!

...put into practice all your skills on stage

I applied for 'Seconds Out', a new musical by Terry Williams. I am playing the second female lead and swing for the lead. It's based on Freddie Mills, champion boxer in the 40's. My first PCR job which I can include all the skills I've trained in - Singing, Dancing and Acting. Perfect.

...find a fantastic theatre job

I was cast as Mandy in Madonna and Me. I had an amazing time in London rehearsing and performing at the Union Theatre and the Westend Festival of Performance at Jermyn St before performing in Liverpool (my home town) as part of the Capital of Culture celebrations. Thank you PCR.

...get a role in a sell out play

The best job that I got through PCR was the stage play 'Stockwell' which transferred to the The Tricycle following it's sell out Landor run. Stockwell was Time Out and Guardian Critics Choice (Beating Jerusalem!) We received a five star review in The Times and an Evening Standard Award Nomination.

...get industry updates

Along with casting news, PCR is great for industry updates. Seeing that Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud theatre (where I tended bar whilst studying at nearby GSA) was casting their tour of 'The Winslow Boy'. I wrote a letter and got a job that eventually led directly to five other theatre jobs.
